I was adviced to put water instead of coolant on the reservoir as the fluid os gone after a few miles drive I dont see any leak at all? Now the temperature goes to hot top level what is wrong ?

The cooling system may need servicing, there could be an air lock in the system, water pump or the cooling fan not working.

head gasket's probably blown , is the exhaust white ? is there goop under the oil fill cap ?
