Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had many problems at first. I've replace the alternator, the fuse box, the
speed sensor, the O2 sensors, and even the gas cap.  Now the battery light
stays on but is hard to see because it's very dim. Could it still be the
alternator ??

I have the same thing happening in my 98 Civic after replacing bad alternator. Advice from shop is that the computer is sending false information after being damaged by the last faulty alternator. Everything tests good (battery new alternator) and they suggest it's just going to be this way from now on (unless I want to replace computer, which I don't...).
