you could shop for a used/rebuilt one on car-part.com....you'll find all the transmissions from all salvagers in the US~
If you bring it to a reputable transmission shop, anywhere from $1000 - $1500.
Its a 98 civic sedan 1.6 liter with 207000 miles. Thanks
