Oil pressure off engine off

Asked by GuruCD2QS Feb 03, 2019 at 06:31 PM about the 2012 Volkswagen Passat Highline

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2012 Volkswagen Passat last March.
Everything ran fine. Come the winter, starting it in
the morning for work I got a warning oil pressure
off pop up... Oil changed before driving it home
and just 3 months ago in October... Pops up after
starting my car and goes away after my engine
heats up... Is this just the sensor or oil pump...
Engine makes no noise car runs perfect

I have the same problem, any solution? I was thinking about replacing the oil pressure sensor and see what that does, not sure.
