What would cause the oil light to blink on a 1998 honda accord lx v6.

You're low on oil. Check the oil level with the car off (for a good 10-15 minutes) and on a level surface.

also beware oil light comes on because of low oil pressure make sure your pump is working properly or you coulddestroy your motor If you like my answer please rate as helpful and best so my reputation goes up thank you

Thankx yall.thats what it was my hubby said the car has almost no oil.it has a slow leak but all of a sudden its leaking a good bit in one spot .

I was driving my oil light small leak stop to put a quart oil then start back drive then my car stops driving
