1998 Honda Accord LX

Recently, my car takes awhile to start...Have to step on the gas and then it eventually starts..Just did the spark plugs and wires this weekend and the battery is about 8 months...Any suggestions? Really don't want to take it in...

Maybe the injectors are clogged get some fuel injector cleaner pour it in the gas tank and drive for a day if its not that maby your fuel pump is going bad.
