low beam head lamp not working after change of bulb

I have a Volkswagen Tiguan 2015. My left low beam head light went out.  I
replaced it, it worked after I put in the new one but within a week it went out.  
Bought another light and put it in but still doesn't work.  I looked up the fuse
number and checked the fuse and is good.  What could be the cause of this?

Is there a relay ? Everything needs a ground , A multi tester is useful for trouble shooting electrical problems .
