Does engine perform correctly or does it run slow, choppy? If so check tbelt timing this car has a one position distributor correct and doesn't fit a tooth or two jump in the belt, will set this code as the cam is not in unison w crank via ecm, especially if you've added adjustable cam gears, tuner applications.
