misfiring jetta 2014 diesel tsi

Where  do i start with this problem!  Light is on.. it idles fast then slows down
almost to a stall when parked!  Any information would be greatly appreciated!
It's a diesel and i love  love love it! 500 miles a tank of gas!   i need to keep this  
baby boy!

You need to pull any codes from the computer. There should be a code to indicate the engine system having trouble. Most Auto Zone or Advanced Auto parts stores will pull the codes from your car for free.
