2015 Volkswagen Jetta, when replacing the battery do I need to take the car to the dealership to have the computer reset or is it something I can do at home?

Use a "memory saver" when swapping out battery. Plugs into power socket and runs off a 9V battery. You can do the same on the outside of the car with cables and another battery or jump pack but be careful not to cross-connect red and black wires.
