Rpm Vs speed issue ?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Rpm goes upto 5000 when i m driving around 120 km/hr on highway. it's manual drive.
is it ok or do i need some kind of maintenance ?

man u realy need some help on this 1!!! coz 5000 at 120 km/hr thats just abnormal for a 5 speed car.. this happens only if u have a four speed ride or somthin liike that.. i think it should be lower than 5000 like 3000 or 3500 at most when ur at 5th gear and at 120 km/hr

5000 in what gear? and do you mean it slips up to 5k?... bad clutch maybe in that case

the right rpm should be at 3000-3200, assuming ur driving in top gear. should have some problem with the clutch.
