2003 chevy tracker wont start

My tracker wont start when key is turned it only
clicks battery old but there is power to vehicle and
ive tried thumping starter with hammer while
someone turns key and nothing still

Thank you i was thinking ignition or switch too but dont know how to check

Any updates on this b/c I have a 2002 Chevy Tracker 2.5L v6 engine that was having some noise in it then I shut it off and it won't turn back on. It only has 90,000 miles and hasn't given me a problem until now,,,,,,all it will do it click when u turn it over like yours!!!

Hi was wondering if you came up with anything on your tracker I have a 2004 tracker v6 2.5 when I turn the key it just makes one solid click and nothing. Battery is good connections are good.
