electrical short

Asked by April R Apr 07, 2016 at 08:23 PM about the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Extended Cab LB RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

About 2 wks ago I noticed my drivers side headlight was out.  I changed the
bulb, but nothing.  I figure if it was a fuse both headlights would be out.
Anyone had this problem or any other ideas?  How hard or expensive to fix?

Try putting in the bulb that work's into the side that doesn't. You May Have bought a bad bulb.

when driving if you will notice 90 percent of the cars you see with a running light out ,not sure on headlights as people tend to fix them right away but the ones you see will be chevrolets . we just had a very expensive electrical problem with our suburban. hope it is fixed now , good luck
