Beginner. Need info to get more speed

I have an 86 monte carlo ss I'm just wondering if
anybody has any info to get more power for a
beginner. Anything will help. 350 engine, k&n
intake, 4 barrel double pumper carb. Stock true
dual exhaust. Like i said any info will help. Thanks

Port and polish the heads for more air and fuel and make sure you have the best carburetor for it, lot's of ppl over carb. Put a hot cam in it too.

had a 350. added a good set of headers,an edlebrock alum. intake like a C26 low profile, and an edlebrock 600-650 cfm carb and, and a Comp. 268xe cam/lifter kit & you will have plenty of what your looking for.plus more. if you have the cash, go all out and get new alum. heads too and change your crank as well.
