How do I fix a 2001 Honda Accord drain plug leak?

Asked by Guru9TMF5Q Apr 01, 2021 at 11:25 AM about the 2001 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Honda Accord and there is a leak
everytime I put coolant in. I replaced the drain plug
but it doesn’t seem to stop the leak from under it.
Any suggestions?

Then the leak isn't from the plug. You have to crawl under the car to see where the leak is coming from. A hose, radiator itself, water pump?

Sometimes the resovoir itself will crack and develope a slow leak so check that as well.
