My check engine light blinks, got codes p0133 & p0302.

Asked by jefthy Aug 15, 2017 at 11:55 AM about the 2001 Ford Taurus SE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

my check engine light blinks, got codes p0302 & p0133. My mechanic cleared the codes to see which one became active but almost right away the engine light started blinking again. He then plugged back in again but no codes were active yet the engine light was still blinking.
He isn't sure what to do from here, Any thoughts!

It's probably an issue with the computer itself. May need to flash. When you plug the obd2 in did you check frames or parameters? Was it able to communicate with Ecu?

Cylinder #2 misfire, and o2 sensor failure unable to detect signal (usually from the ecm) meaning computer maybe faulty
