car starts but sputters and dies.. what could be wrong?

I don't know if you have the same problem as I did but mine was the PCV valve elbow where deterioration took over the rubber and made a BIG vacuum leak that made my car not really sputter but it wanted to stall out sitting still.

When I crank my car it sputters and goes dead I crank it back and I'll head to pet the gas pedal and hold it up till we go to 3 RPMs and keep giving it gas and it finally starts going what could be wrong with it

I have a 2007 ford Taurus that start about 5second just die I replace fuel pump and still will not start
