4th Key won't start the car?

Asked by brender Sep 07, 2013 at 01:55 PM about the 2002 Honda Civic LX

Question type: General

purchased a 02 Civic. One of the four keys will turn the engine over but will NOT start
car. The other three keys start car. Car runs fine. Doesn't appear to be a valet key as
those usually start car but do not allow access to trunk. What's up with this?

Don't forget to take ALL OF YOUR KEYS if you go to have the 4th one programmed. Usually the dealer will need to reintroduce all keys when programming a new one.
