Check air filter and clean or replace Idle Air Control Valve also clean throttle body, replace fuel filter if have not done so in a while add fuel injector cleaner to gas tank.

Ok...but it is getting worse...I can be going down the road and it starts losing power then it catches really fast...can it be the plugs???

Oh yes it can be a number of things but you try the simple things first. Also have engine code read that will help a lot to determine what's wrong with vehicle. Most parts stores check the code for free.
