There is a special procedure to change the fluid, check youtube. The vehicle needs to be high enough so you can get under it, level and at a certain temperature when refiling. The drain and fill plug is along the bottom of the transmission pan. So you access from under the SUV. CVT's are particular to the type and level of fluid. Make sure you buy the specific fluid for your vehicle. If you don't feel confident, have a mechanic perform the change.
