im looking at a 2008 Cadillac CTS with 149k.. i know the miles are high but this is by dream car. they are asking $9995 and the car has a few body repairs 'nothing major' i have plans for the car in the future, how much should i talk them down..?

A lot! Check around that's to much for an 8 year old car with high miles., and repaired body damage!

Sounds like your typical used car lot markup. Run away from this deal. You can get that car for a lot less. Just be patient and keep hunting.

You need to walk away and continue your search online! At that age you can use one of several online search apps to locate the real car of your dreams. I have found several really good websites and have had good success when I was in a similar situation!
