What is wrong with my electrical system

Asked by Kevin Sep 23, 2020 at 06:40 PM about the 2016 Dodge Charger R/T RWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car just randomly has strange electrical issues.
They can last 1 min to the longest a few days. It
will have no power. Powerlocks will not open, truck
will not open, auto start doesn't respond. Was
driving a few times and shut off. Back lights
wouldn't work while brake lights worked. Power
windows lock up. Dash would go black while
driving. Battery connection was reinforced. Then
Had control body module replaced. All was good a
yr and now starting up again. Right now back
passenger door will not open at all. Car will be
dead at random few mins. No codes are showing.
I've been dealing with these issues from the first
day i brought it home. Brand new off the lot 2016

Sounds like your ECM is having difficulties but you said you have already replaced it. If you have the paperwork to document any repairs done by the dealer, I would present them to the dealer and Dodge territory manager and look for a vehicle swap or some other settlement.
