I had a belt squealing mostly at start up and when AC was running. A week ago it was at the shop for oil change a a couple recalls and I had them check the belts to see where the squealing was coming.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was told Power Steering and Serpentine
Belts needed replaced. They were replaced
4 days ago and the car is still squealing,  if
not worse than it was before belts were
replaced.  What would cause the squeal?

There is a pulley that the serpentine belt rides on that could be bad, the belt could be a little tight if a cheap belt was used. You may want to spray some belt dressing on the belt, it can be purchased at an auto supply store
