What does "Salvage Issues" mean?

Asked by GuruWC9F Mar 31, 2017 at 11:59 AM about the 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali Crew Cab 4WD

Salvage title means the car was totaled by insurance due to accident damage, flooding etc. I would not buy one, especially a new car. Old cars can be totaled for a fender dent. A 2016 would have major damage to be totaled.
