Can I change a 16 in tire with a 15 in tire

I have nice 15 in tires on Ford rims
that I would like to put on my
2005 Honda pilot which has 16
inch tires same bolt pattern can it
be done

the center bore might be different, you would need to test fit it. But I don't like going smaller on any vehicle, only larger.
