transmission drain plug

had oil changed they said the bolt to the manual transmission was sheared off and could not check it, is this possible, if so how to remove it and replace bolt?

Take a 5/16 drill bit and drill the center of the broken bolt 1/2" deep. Install an easy out and remove the bolt.
