Front seat replacement

Asked by David Jun 20, 2015 at 03:44 PM about the 2005 Honda Accord LX

Question type: Car Customization

I just bought a 2005 Honda Accord from a family member and got a great deal on it.
However, after driving it for a few days I have noticed the front driver seat is really
uncomfortable. Is there any way to switch a seat out and put in 2014 Nissan Altima Seat,
which I have heard a lot of good things about?

Tom is right it would be hard to do that, I know it would be great since there both Japanese if it would work but in all reality it would be difficult to do possible but difficult.. Your other option is that if its uncomfortable due to the fact the seat it self is worn out is just replace the foam in it at a local upholstery shop..

Ok, so maybe an alternative; I know there are many racing seats, does anyone one know of any seats that are made to be more plush? The LX doesn't have any electric wiring on it. No power etc. So I am not concerned about losing the heated seats I don't have or anything. I just want something that is not painfully digging in to the kidneys and thighs. Or I could try to lose 50 lbs. ;) The seat I don't think is worn out. My mother in law is tiny and didn't drive it much. Thus the great deal. Looked online and there are a lot of people complaining about the comfort of the Honda Accord seats and I am one of them.
