I just replaced the clutch and all the forward gears
work just fine but when I put it into reverse , it feels
like it goes into gear but it doesn’t do anything
when I give it gas

When replacing clutch did you happen to look at the reverse gear teeth? If not that's ok we will start with the easy things first. #1 (assuming fluid levels are good) check transmission position sensor, #2 check the valve body, it may be worn out and need resurfacing (automatic transmission) #3 (can be done while examining the valve body) condition of fluid. May need flushed and filter replaced. From there I would examine the reverse teeth for damage such as broken teeth
