2014 jetta 2.0 manual transmission, EPC light and such it down

Asked by Dan Feb 23, 2020 at 08:50 PM about the 2014 Volkswagen Jetta Base

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Is anybody know what the sensor in the pictures does? I
believe has something to do with the PCV but what is
doing, if I unplug it the car still working like normal, no
lights or anything else. I am getting the horrible EPC light in
my Jetta ones in a while, the car comes to a complety stop,
I let it be for a minute and starts like a champ and no lights
or problems whatsoever until it happens again
