Question type: Maintenance & Repair

You have to wiggle the key to get it to turn and start.  At times when you turn
it off the key won't turn all the way back...the key will come out and the car
will beep like it is still in there.
I have sprayed wd-40 and it seemed to help a little. I had new keys made
about 6 months ago so that shouldn't be the problem.  Any thoughts?  My
local mechanic who I trust, said that the switch would cost around 260 for
just the part.
