Dashboard lights. I have a 1997 GMC Suburban 1500. My dashboard lights don.t come on unless I turn the headlaights on. I believe that they used to come on whenever the truck was running just as the daylight running ights do. When I asked the repair place to fix the dash lights they told me that they only came on when the headlights were turned on. As I have not driven my truck in a while I would like to know if I am remembering incorrectly of if I need to take my truck in and have the dashboard lights repaired so that they will come on when the engine is running. 2 Answers
Should my dashboard lights be on when the engine is running or just when the headlights are actually turned on.
