Truck knocking and shaking

After running through high water, my ram 1500
started to knock and shake, the check engine
comes on and off and white smoke comes out the
exhaust..!!!?!? Can someone help me?

Sound like the engine ingested some water you have quite an expensive problem. good chance of bent connecting rods, piston damage, block damage, and head damage. so basicaly unless very lucky you are looking at getting a new motor.
At this point there is major internal damage you might as well take it to a mechanic or if you feel up to it start pulling the motor so it can be rebuilt.
