Where does cargurus get its accident
history? I have found a vehicle that is listed
as have being in an accident however the
car fax shows up clean

cargurus has nothing to do with the information being posted, all that information is posted by the dealer that is selling the car !

COMETYGUY61's answer is NOT CORRECT. CarGuru gets that information from some search site, I forget the name. But I have that identical problem with a car I have listed for sale. The CARFAX and VinCheckPro sites say there were no accidents. So I have noted in my description of the car that the report of an accident history is not correct.
