Will my jeep over heat if I have the wrong radiator cap

If the radiator cap has a lower pressure release than what is supposed to be on there you can lose coolant which will lead to overheating. Hope that helps! Jim

Also if you have the wrong cap it might no allow the coolant recovery to work. There are a number of ways the cap could be wrong.
