Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I just had my oil changed at a Valvoline shop and now my oil pressure is 0. They told me it's a Ford issue and told me go to the dealership. I never even got out of the Valvoline shop. Checked and there is plenty of oil.

If the engine has oil in it and the gauge reads zero does the engine sound OK? I would call your Ford dealer and ask them what to do. The safest thing would be to have it towed to the dealer.

Made it to the dealership and they found the problem immediately. The Valvoline tech apparently didn't reinstall part of the oil filter assembly (cartridge type) so no oil was being sent to the filter. It's a $28 part and I assume the tech tossed it along with the old oil filter. Going to light up a Valvoline store manager next. Thanks for the info you posted.
