Honda pilot 2016 transmission fluid

Asked by nolekat Aug 17, 2020 at 09:57 PM about the 2016 Honda Pilot EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Honda recommends my transmission
fluid be changed every 30,000 miles,
but my mechanic friends that
specialize in transmission say that
they would never open one up
because it can cause problems later
on. What do you recommend? What
are the pros and cons to changing it or
not changing it? please and thank you

Change the fluid. Not changing it can lead to a failed transmission.
