Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2016 Yukon XL and this morning when I turned it on it gave me
warnings to Service: Theft Deterrent System, Airbag, Park Assist System,
Side Detection System, Front Camera, Tire Monitor and all the gauges
except for the battery charge went to nothing.  No temp, gas, oil, speed
gauge movement and the screen didn't display any information about mpg,
etc.  I tried turning the car off and it did the same thing when I started it
again.  I drove to work (because I didn't have a choice) which was about 6
miles of speeds under 45 and when I got there I turned if off again and tried
turning it back on and same thing.  I have googled but don't see much about
the instrument panel issues in years later than 2010.  Does anyone have
thoughts?  Thank you!

I am having the same issue in my 2015 XL. The dealership thinks it's the battery but I just had AC work done on it and feel like it may be a short from that.

Having the exact same issue with my 2019 Yukon XL. I would love to hear how you got this resolved.

It acts up here and there but never long enough for the dealership to see... they don’t know. But since my navigation and a/c quit working so i’m not impressed with this vehicle at all.

The local dealership had to outsource the issue to a local automotive electric place. They had it for over a week, but were able to narrow it down to the telematics module. Apparently it's tucked up there pretty well. They disconnected it while we were waiting for the new parts. I didn't have any more instrument cluster issues. The only things I noticed was the Onstar stuff didn't work(I don't use it anyway) and the microphone didn't work, so no voice commands or bluetooth phone calls. Just got the module replaced today and so far so good. Hopefully this information can help save someone else some headaches in the future.
