Just making a project truck? Keep in mind that ' fit' isnt the only issue. Wieght is also a concern as well as access for maintenance. I've seen a V8 crammed into a small truck before, it was forced in without much thought. NOT GOOD, what's your motive?

That all depends on your budget and tolerance for modification. Then you also have to think about the emissions if your area has emission inspections if you want it to be street legal.
