1968 camaro rs convertible

Ive had this car since 1987 and its originally an RS model but I cloned it to be a
Z28/RS, all except the motor. Body and interior are in great shape but now Im
finally ready to redo under the hood. I do want to make it an pretty close copy
for the original Z28 option but I have to stay under $10k. Suggestions?

It all depends on what you want to do. My question is what's in it for a engine now and I could help from There otherwise if it's a v6 then not lots can happen but change out transmission and motor but then the room there is tight for working on

Other questions possible rebuild engine with nice tune up make over give it some horse power
