Why my 2916 Nissan Maxima shakes during accelation

Asked by mjkouris Dec 20, 2015 at 12:13 PM about the 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum

Question type: General

Under normal driving conditions in stop and go traffic the car shakes every time  I start to accelerate. It shakes in both normal and sport modes.  It runs smooth at high speed .  I know of other owners who have the same problem.  Is the redesigned CVT the problem.  What have you heard.

It is still under warranty. Take it to the dealership to have them look at it. The CVT transmissions in some vehicles cause lots of issues. I currently would not purchase any vehicle that has a CVT.
