Running board lights

Have the lights wired and they do not work. I have
a f350 do you know where the hot wire is

Note the wiring diagram. Hopefully, the database is correct. The violet wire is voltage, black wire is ground, check them both, use a test light. You can see fuse at the top. If you want to run voltage from another source, I guess you can try. Maybe from ignition feed or headlamp, hopefully no unexpected issues will pop-up? Make sure everything works.
