Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 Ford Focus SE Wagon. A few months ago the check engine light was
on and I was told to replace the EGR Valve. I had it changed and the light stayed on,
the code wouldn't clear. Now I was driving on Monday and the car just completely died
on me, I tried to start, it cranks and starts for a few seconds and dies. It will only stay
running if I keep my foot on the gas. Now it is giving me codes P0401, P1504 and
P1507. I would appreciate any help on this I can get.

It controls air to fuel mixture, and can cause the issue you have discribed.
