94 GMC 5.7 Yukon V8?

94 GMC starts idles as soon as I put it in gear it dies it
doesn't ramp up and then dies so I don't think it's a
transmission solenoid I changed the EGR valve and it works
a little bit better but still chops out and dies I traced all the
vacuum lines checked all them and the fuel injectors are
clean. I've reset the timing put their number one person all
the way up and did the whole nine yards. Would a
distributor cap make this happen?

Check for check engine codes, sounds like the catalytic converter is plugged up.
