No truth to it at all. Check http://www.ford.com/cars/fusion/ for more info on the new Fusions.

While sitting with a car dealer, he told me the tranny was definite, as did a few Ford mechanics. Depends on which car site you read, you'll get different stories. I was hoping to get a solid answer from Ford. The site you sent me to is one I was using in the past.

They don't have an 8 speed tranny on Fusion. The reason I'm trying to find out is I'm buying '16 Fusion when they come out, and I've always been a bit gun shy with a new model with new tech, like a tranny or some other major part. Thanks for all your help.
