2015 Chrysler 300 trunk won't stay closed.

My trunk won't stay closed. It pops back up again.
The car says key system failure but not sure what
this got to do with the trunk release.

same issue, pops ups repeatedly. I hear clicking under dash. I removed the battery from key fob and it still clicked a dozen times at least. I suspect it is a faulty relay under dash or the button on the trunk itself. (thinking it is the button at the trunk)
