1995 Yukon Rear Brakes locking up in 2WD

Asked by FriskyMongoose Jan 24, 2017 at 12:57 PM about the 1995 GMC Yukon SLE 2dr 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The brakes are only locking up in 2WD, they work fine in 4WD. Lots of squealing in 2wd when even lightly taping on the brakes.

If the brake shoe's where replaced, may have the wrong shoe on the front and back, brakes may be adjusted too tight, or something wrong with the proportional valve, and also it is possible the brake hose that runs to the back has internally collapsed.
