Ceramic brake pads will wear out a rotor. Anything rubbing on the rotor will wear it out. Ceramic pads are better known to produce less brake dust. -- Many times the pulsation of the brakes is blames on warped rotors. The problem is actually pad material unevenly deposited on the friction surfaces. -- When the brakes are applied, material from the pad sticks to the rotor during what is called "bedding in". Clean, sand, turn down or replace the rotors. Perform a bedding in process as per the pad manufacturer.
