Rear shocks air suspension

Asked by malachicarman Jan 22, 2020 at 02:49 AM about the 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 ford expedition 5.4l awd and the
back shocks and air bags went out over some train
tracks. Should i just replace the shocks and bags
and call it good or is it recommended to switch to
springs? Also is it possible to only have the back
end on springs?

1 Answer

I would do a conventional suspension conversion. There are kits available.
