Radio

Asked by Frankie Apr 07, 2017 at 04:38 PM about the 2001 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was installing a new radio on my 2001 ford
expedition Eddie Bauer and I had it on and hooked
up and as I was hooking up the speaker wires my
hot wire arced out and I lost all power to the radio.
I hooked the factory one back up and also no
power. I've checked all the fuses and they all are
good. I took the radio out and hooked it straight to
the battery and it comes on. But as soon as I try to
hook back up on the truck it does nothing. Anyone
with any ideas I would appreciate it

Double check the fuses. I am sure you burned a fuse out. Test them or replace them as sometimes a bad fuse looks good.
