Folding side mirrors stopped working king ranch F 350

I read owners manual and found if mirrors are bumped and won't work you can manually push mirror in till you hear a click then you can move the mirror by moving the knob on the door and mirror will work and move into position. The reason the switch wouldn't work is, it stops working if you use it too much so you won't burn out the mirror motor.
